Boxster was the highest scoring foal at
the August 2006 Oldenburg inspections at
Hilltop Farm. There were 28 foals!!! His scores were:
Conformation and Type 8.5, Movements 8.5, Overall Impression
8.5, Total = 8.5. Ekkehardt Brysch, CEO of the organization, and the new
breeding director for ISR/Oldenburg N.A., Christian Schacht, both said "we
want you to keep this one intact - he is a stallion prospect"

<< From Hilltop "News">> The
foals livened up our late morning and afternoon
hours with their lively antics as they danced about and showed themselves
around the arena. What a special group of foals it was! A very high
percentage of premium candidates were selected, definitely atypical to the
standard. In total, twenty-five foals were presented with 18 called back as
Premium Candidates. 17 foals total were given premium titles, scores of 8.0
or higher with an abundance of quality in the filly division. The Champion
filly brought tears of joy to her breeder. Joan Seufer’s orphaned filly “Rosabella”
by Riverman paid tribute to her lost dam, the TB mare Punxsatawney Punch, by
earning a total score of 8.4. The filly was especially noted for her
elegance and beautiful head. The Reserve Champion filly with a score of 8.3
was “Rohsalina” by Royal Prince our of Janice Barnes’ 2001 Oldenburg mare
Carousel (by Contucci). The Champion Colt was another lovely colt from the
many-time Champion foal breeder Denise Bryant. “Bailey” by Bugatti Hilltop
out of Bryant Farm’s TB mare Precious Heiress earned a total 8.5 for the
high-score of the day and the Colt Champion title. The Reserve Champion colt
was Hilltop Farm’s “Picasso” (Parabol-Cor Noir-Caribo II, full-brother to
Pacino), earning 8.4 points overall. Many other foals offered
highlights and are worthy of mention, especially BW-Royal Aire (Royal
Prince-A Jungle Prince-Renoir) who easily earned his own score of 8.4. This
stunning Royal Prince colt bred by Blue Waters Farm tied with Hilltop Farm’s
Picasso and Lauren Efford’s special dunn-colored colt “Good as Gold” (Goodtimes-Michelino-Alibi).
